Impeccable service, swanky atmosphere without the attitude, and excellent food. Great experience every time.
Salads are off the charts, if you're into that, and of course the meat is top shelf. Truly epic. And the wagyu burger is a miracle. And the fries. And duckfat potatoes. And and and. Wow.
One thing that stands out (among many) is that no matter how particular your order, no matter how customized, they will get it right. It will arrive exactly as you wanted. That's worth its weight in gold on a quality night out.
We love this place. One of Omaha's best. One of anywhere's best. -

I had the lobster and shrimp pasta. It was very good. I loved the home made noodles and white wine and butter sauce. The lobster was cooked well and just enough. Three huge shrimp really fill you up
The service was slow. It took us 15 minutes for them to take our order but it was a Friday night. We asked the waiter to split the bill right away with the other couple but when the bill came, it was combined into one. The waiter then messed up a couple times on whose order was on each other's tab.
Overall, food great, service needs work. -

Dressing and the big fat bacon chunks on the wedge salad were great!
I ordered the waygu ribeye and the first one was over cooked, so I sent it back and asked for a rare one this time. It came out fast and was cooked perfect. However, the steak was over salted and didn't taste any different from a prime ribeye, so I was very disappointed in that, since it cost twice as much for the waygu beef. My wife ordered the prime rib, and it was better than the waygu.
The sides were delicious, and we had plenty!
Chocolate cake was very good! -

If dining at 801 Chophouse was the only thing I did while in Omaha - the meal alone would have been worth it. While there are a few other sites to see and experiences to have, this restaurant is at the tip-top of my list.
We got the recommendation from our hotel shuttle driver when my dining companion asked where he could get a great steak. Fortunately steak wasn't all they had or all that they were great at. First things first... the service was beyond reproach. We sat at the bar and were greeted warmly by at least three individuals that seemed to come at us from all sides. One brought bread, one handled drinks and another took care of the apps - all the while smiling as if we were old friends. The bartender, Rick, was especially gracious with his hospitality and conversation which started things off on the good foot!
First course was caesar salads, fresh and crisp! Next up was the calamari... you know the saying "not your daddy's [insert word here]" ? ... well this was indeed your daddy's calamari, in the best way possible! It was grand in both size and flavor... mm mm and mm. For the entree I had a seafood pasta with lobster and jumbo shrimp. It was savory and the portion was so big I had to take it to go. Finally the dessert - cheesecake! I am running out of ways to describe how good the food was... folks are just going to have to experience it for themselves... mic drop. -

When I first tasted the Bone-In Delmonico here I knew there was a God and he wanted us to be happy. This steak is a testament to the gift of life. The restaurant was a miracle to me. Enjoy!!!
